Wedding Favors

If you are planning your wedding in the near future, don't forget to start organizing your wedding favors as soon as possible. Ideas for treats are generally plentiful so there are bound to be enough to suit your budget and taste. There is no longer any need to get stressed about what favors you intend to use with the large range it should make your decision easier and take less time.

One option for an easy wedding favor, especially popular with the ladies is flowers. The big plus with this option is the ease and speed with which flowers can be organized.

A symbol of love, the red rose is one of the more popular choices and they do not require much preparation. Placing the rose on the wedding reception table where the guest are seated is a nice touch and doesn't need to be done until the last minute.

The options available for using candy as an easy wedding favor are huge and probably the single most popular gift. However, there is an even easier way to give candy and also help you to save money on centerpieces. Now, how simple is a large glass bowl filled with candy going to be in the centre of the table?

All you need to do after this is arrange for each wedding guest to have a small box where they can place their candy. Your guests will fill up the presentation containers with the candy in the centerpieces making this an extremely convenient gift which does not involve any wrapping.
To give your guests something they can keep why not leave a small picture frame on the table. Often when receptions have large guest lists, wrapping wedding favors can seem like a nightmare so needs to be avoided if possible. For this to work you need to make things simple so why not save having to wrap the gifts by using them as placeholders; and who would anyone blame you?

A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer armed with a digital camera. It is a simple matter of bringing a printer along so the images can be printed off during the reception and are ready when the guests start to leave. It is a nice gift and a wedding favor your guests will appreciate when they leave with a photo of how they looked on your wedding day. Many professional photographers have purchased small digital projectors so there is no reason why you couldn't request one at the reception and this way your guests could see the images that had been taken during the day.

Most Romantic Ways to Say "I Do"

He finally asked “The” question, you have said yes and are now ready to plan one of the most important events of your life. A major consideration when planning your wedding is where to hold the ceremony. You have probably been thinking of this for years, possibly changing the location several times in your mind. But, the key ingredient remains the same and that is romance.

This does not necessarily mean lavish or expensive, it simply means a place that you find completely romantic. Here are a few locations to get you started: Ravello, Italy is a town located above the Amalfi Coast, possibly one of Europe’s most magnificent stretches of coastline. It is set on a ridge overlooking the Bay of Solerno, inspiring such phrases as “…majestic mountains and sunsets from heaven…” The Villa Rufolo is a garden of laid out garden beds, palm trees, fountains and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Finally tapering off at an unparalled vista along the coast and out over the deep blue sea. A perfect setting for your once-in-a-lifetime wedding.

Consider a Florentine wedding. The Villa San Michele in Florence, Italy is an absolutely staggering location for your nuptials. In the 15th century it was a monastery and today it is a fascinating hotel, a renaissance villa with a perfect view of Florence and the Chianti countryside. Many couples have vowed their undying love in this wonderful villa.

Imagine celebrating your special day in an exotic tropical setting; standing with your loved one on a white sandy beach while a warm breeze stirs the air. That is just the beginning of the wedding ceremony on Turtle Island, Fiji, performed at sunset on the shores of the famous Blue Lagoon. You can even opt to have a traditional Fijian ceremony complete with the wedding attire made just for you with hand-painted with Fijian symbols. All of the guests and the bride and groom wear garlands of fresh, fragrant flowers around the necks. Talk about romantic.

Do you dream of a fairytale wedding? There is no better place to realize that dream than Guthrie Castle in Scotland, complete with manicured lawns, a gorgeous walled garden and private loch. They even have an in-house wedding coordinator to help you with the details of the ceremony. It is available to all religious denominations and styles. Becoming more popular is a medieval style wedding that just exudes romance.

These are just some examples of romantic wedding locations. There are many more and perhaps you will have gleaned some wonderful ideas to create your own most romantic wedding.

POSSIBLY THE BEST WAY TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE

I just came across an excellent new system that can help anyone who has a personal blog or website to make extra money. Before you go doing what I'm about to tell you, be sure you don't break any terms of services, as not all blog sites will allow you to do this...however, if you have a free blog here, on http://www.blogger.com/, or have your own website, THIS SYSTEM WILL EVENTUALLY PAY MORE THAN GOOGLE ADSENSE.

It's called Pay Per Play...it launches in February and I've read up on what they're doing and I am very impressed. Basically, every single time someone clicks on your blog or personal website, YOU WILL GET PAID per that impression. They, in turn, will hear a 5 second ad.

These are big companies advertising, like Taco Bell and etc.Apparently, TV ads aren't pulling in the results like they used to cause everyone is online these days. Advertisers are moving their ad campaigns to the Internet with 5 second ads and are looking for websites willing to run their ads. Imagine, you'll be just like a TV station! You can add the code to MySpace, Facebook, Blogger and etc. I just registered and encourage anyone here who has a personal blog (outside of Blogit) and website, to get on this immediately, and start making money in the new year.

I have no doubt this will be BIGGER than adsense one day and now is our chance to get in on the ground level. Here ya go: PayPerPlay You can thank me later! Oh, and yes, it's free!!

Is a Winter Wedding Something You Should Consider?

Winter weddings are a fantastic way to usher in the end of the year or bring in a new one. They can be beautiful with winter-themed flowers and decor with an outdoor background of snow, if you're lucky.

Winter Weddings mean dressing warmer

The wedding gown can include long sleeves and warmer material. Your bridesmaids can wear warmer colors and dresses made with velvet, suede and other winter fashions. From the groom to the groomsmen and flower girl, winter wedding wear needs to be considered.

Winter Weddings and Honeymoons

Some couples who marry in the winter keep the theme going by honeymooning at a ski resort. If a winter wedding is in your plans and you're not crazy about cold and snow, then you're definitely a candidate for a warm honeymoon in the tropics or Mexico.

Winter Weddings need to be Booked Early

If you're planning a Christmas or New Year's Eve winter wedding, be sure to plan early. Book the church, the reception hall and everything as early as you possibly can...same thing goes for vacation and honeymoon packages during the winter.

Wedding Planning Checklist

How to Get Ready for Your Wedding

Preparing for your wedding can be a joyous occasion and possibly the most stressful event to plan in the world! After all, you want it to go off without a hitch, personalize it to reflect your taste and personality, and make it an event that will be remembered for years to come. This is where a wedding planning checklist comes in handy.

If you do not have a wedding planning checklist, now’s the time to create one. It’s easy really and it will help keep you organized and scheduled. You will be able to keep track of your comings and goings, as related to the wedding, and be able to check off each item on the list as it gets finished.

A wedding checklist is what most brides follow to keep them on a working schedule that’s sensible, flexible and organized. There are many ways to create such a checklist and your checklist will be individualized just for you. For some the list will be quite extensive, and for others, it won’t. Depending on how much you’ve already done, your list will vary from the next bride.

Below is a sample wedding planning checklist. You can personalize it to fit your own life and wedding and plans. This is just something to give you an idea of what you might want to create for yourself.

Wedding planning checklist
1. Bridesmaids and grooms – Have you selected them yet?
2. Wedding party – Do you have a singer lined up?
3. What about an organist, pianist, ring bearer, flower girl, and any special readings during the service?
4. Gowns/Tuxes – Have you picked out a wedding dress?
5. What about bridesmaids’ dresses and tuxes?
6. Photographer – Do you want photos taken before or after the wedding?
7. Church or other facility – Have you reserved a place for the wedding to take place?
8 What about the reception?
9. Newspaper announcements – Photos and info should be sent to your local paper
10. Rehearsal dinner – Who’s coming and where are you having it?
11. Gifts for those in the wedding party – Do you want to buy tokens of appreciation?
12. Wedding cake, punch, and other refreshments – Do you have a caterer?
13. Who’s making the wedding cake? What sorts of refreshments do you want to serve?
14. Decorations for the church and reception – Are you ordering flowers, decorations, ribbons, and etc?
15. Who will help put decorations up?
16. Equipment rental – Do you need to rent tables, chairs, microphones or any other type of equipment for the wedding or reception?
17. Rings – Have you purchased the rings?

The wedding planning checklist is a great way to keep yourself on track. The above list is very general. It’s a good idea to assign tasks to your maid of honor, your mom and even your husband to be. Put everyone to work who is willing. After all, you don’t need to do it all yourself.

To make your wedding planning checklist complete, it’s good to also put a date next to the item that needs to be taken care of. In this way, you keep to a tight schedule and can feel confident that everything is coming along as planned.
